A little soul, a little pop, a little blues, a little fun, somewhere beneath this down to earth, quirky, young woman’s repertoire there is a song for everyone. Whether a large audience or small, southwest singer/songwriter Maya Ixchell loves to share emotions and stories with her music, either through her own original songs or the much-loved covers that span music across six decades.
Maya Ixchell has been performing professionally across the southwest for the last six years. She has been on the official program at Nannup Music Festival from 2016-2019 and again in 2021. She has also played on many big stages with large audiences – opening for Hoodoo Gurus and Jon Stevens at their beach concerts in Bunbury. In 2016, she had the honour of being shortlisted for The Voice Australia.
